View of Bonners Ferry from east to west showing the Kootenai River, downtown Bonners Ferry to the left of the bridge, and the Kootenai Wildlife Refuge in the distance. We have had a pleasant stay in this area. Next weekend it's off to Washington and later Oregon and California.

We started out to take a short drive along the Kootenai River. After taking a wrong turn, we found ourselves driving up and up, until we found an overlook above the Northern Idaho we had been looking for.
